Excellent International Fusion Restaurant Right Here in Marietta, PA

Oh my goodness! I am so full! But in a good way! Dallas and I had dinner tonight at Josephine's Restaurant, 324 W. Market St. here in our town of Marietta. Chef Daniel LeBoon and his lovely fiancé Shawn, treated us like royalty tonight! It's hard to believe we have a five star gourmet restaurant right here in our little town of Marietta, in Lancaster County!

We started off with the Lobster Bisque, which was out of this world! Fresh baked rolls and butter, too. A mixed green house salad with tangy blue cheese dressing followed. Dallas ordered the Short Ribs in sweet chili glaze. I wanted to try them as our guests have been raving about them lately, but I opted for Daniel's famous Crab cake. I was not disappointed! Dallas was kind enough to share the ribs with me, so sweet and tender and I the crab cake with him. Phenomenal! We had saved room for desert, and I was in the mood for a chocolate fix! Should I have the homemade Chocolate/Chambord ice cream or the Chocolate Gateau? With Shawn's help, I decided on the Chocolate Gateau, which was a rich chocolate, Chambord mousse on a sweet cake base with strawberry coulis. With Dallas' help, we polished it off quite nicely! Daniel buys organic and he buys local. Want the farm to table experience? You can't go wrong at Josephine's international fusion restaurant. Chef Daniel is also a certified sommelier as reflected in his wine list that showcases the up and coming wines of the world. Reservations are a must, as the restaurant is very popular.
