Cannon Cottage

Third generation Hiestand family member, Robert Vanderslice, Jr., was the architect who designed the exterior of our cottage in 1960. Named for Mrs. Sara Cannon Hiestand, the Cannon Cottage was created in 2008, and it features a magnificent stained glass window from the original house.

The Cannon Cottage is a separate unit with it's own private entrance. Shades of persimmon, gold and green accent the bold oak mission style furniture. It features a pillow top king size bed, gas fireplace (operational between October and May) and a 32" HD cable TV w/DVD player. The private bath has a two person whirlpool tub, separate spa shower, heated tile floor and heated towel rack. There is a bar sink with counter area with a coffee maker, electric tea pot and refrigerator. You may join us in the main dining room for breakfast or have it delivered to your cottage. Requires a two night minimum on holiday weekends.
