About B.F. Hiestand House Bed and Breakfast

he B.F. Hiestand House is an elegant High Queen Anne style Victorian inn conveniently located in the Historic Rivertowne of Marietta, PA along the Susquehanna River. The gracious inn was designed by local architect C. Emlen Urban, and built in 1887 as the home of B. Frank Hiestand, a well known lumber mill owner of his time, and his family. Three generations of Hiestand's lived in and lovingly cared for the home over a period of 102 years. The inn is also on the Historic Registry of Homes.

From the B&B it's just a short drive to Hershey, historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, wineries, shopping outlets, the historic Rivertownes of Marietta, Columbia and Wrightsville, and many other Pennsylvania attractions and sights. We are also central to York and Harrisburg. Maybe you are interested in a quiet couple of days away from the rush and noise of everyday living...this lovely Victorian bed and breakfast is the place for that too.
