Passport to the Susquehanna Ale Trail

If you love beer, then you’ll love the annual Susquehanna Ale Trail Passport Event. Create your own “hoppy” memories during two weekends – April 10-12 and 17-19. The Susquehanna Ale Trail is comprised of breweries, brewpubs and craft brewing outlets in the lower Susquehanna Valley.

Discover the craft of microbrewing at participating establishments for special guided tours and exclusive beer tastings. The brewmaster is often on hand to answer questions and offer advice. While enjoying a pint, you’ll learn the science behind the brewing process and how recipes are tweaked to achieve perfect flavors that led to the finished product in your mug.

The Susquehanna Ale Trail is a self-guided tour that allows you to explore at your own pace. In addition to tours and tastings, the Passport also includes a souvenir beer glass!  Hours are Fridays 4 – 8 pm, Saturdays Noon – 5 pm, and Sundays Noon – 4 pm.

You’ll find some of the best lagers, pilsners, stouts and ports in the country at the breweries along the Susquehanna Ale Trail many in close proximity to the B.F. Hiestand House Bed & Breakfast.
