A small quaint historic river town, Marietta is located on the east side of the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County. In the 1800s, Marietta was at the center of the lumber and iron industries that accounted for the town’s prosperity. Its designated Historic District is a recognized center for restoration. May 16 – Marietta Day
Vendors, music, food and games in the downtown area from 9am to 3pm.
May 25 – Memorial Day Parade
Parade starts at the school at 11am to 1 pm.
June 6 – Spring Pub Crawl
Live music from 3pm to 9pm at participating pubs: Shank’s Tavern, McCleary’s Pub, Paris Pub, River Street Café, Railroad House Inn and Nick’s Bistro.
June 7 – Community Garden Tour
Eight gardens within Marietta are featured from 11am to 4pm.
